generico 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2016 Hi, I am Jeffrey, I raided with <Hurricane> for the Alexander Gordias and Alexander Midas raids of Final Fantasy XIV. I am new to wow, but am looking forward to the adventure. I currently enjoy playing with others and helping fellow guild mates in ffxiv, and I am hoping to carry this over to wow. I main summoner in ffxiv, so I will be looking into starting as a warlock in wow. Typically I dps or heal, but I am willing to help the guild with whatever role is needed. borisan 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2016 Hey! I'm Bori. I've played FFXIV with Hurricane for a while and did raid with them for a while as a DPS in the game. They're a great group of people whom I really like to play with. I've played WoW since early 2006 as a Mage, and really miss how the game used to be back then. I've decided to again go Mage, but I can decide on what race I want to go - I've always been Horde, and have always liked Undead. As for me, I am a science student who likes brains too much and I love the Dark Souls series. I played dragoon mainly in FFXIV since I like hitting things with pointed sticks. Wyldhunt 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2016 Hey Wyldhunt here long time mmo player ranging back to retail vanilla launch and before that good old everquest, Looking to get back into some Vanilla content on a fresh server. I use to play a shaman back in the day but as of now i am currently deciding between smashing the boss up from with a Warrior, or going back to my roots of a ranged mage from my TBC days. Either way i'm looking for a guild to enjoy the leveling (and expedite as its going to be a painful rush to get ahead of everybody at the start) then get into some 2-3 day a week raiding for a night time PST time zone raiding 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
cybaster 31 Report post Posted December 30, 2016 Everquest! The more old guard, the merrier. I took a crack at that way after the fact on Project 1999. Didn't get much farther than the north Ro desert due to time constraints, but the game was weirdly compelling, after the shock of the grind wore off. My first major MMO was DAoC. I might have even been trying to set up on the returning pserver Uthgard, but I'd rather experience vanilla again more. Marnix, you're a brave soul to go Lock straight away, while the 8 debuff limit is in force. But we definitely want at least two for CoS/CoE early on. Awesome class in PVP right out the door. Blackshadows, I'm going warrior, too! Do you prefer to tank or dps in raids? We've probably got our MT sorted out - one of my imports that I was doing savage raids in FF14 with. Of course, she might hate the game. Who knows. I've been playing WoW on and off for more than 10 years, from Vanilla all the way up to Wotlk. Seeing as there will be a lot of people at launch, having a group to play with to do content will be beneficial for all, therefore I am interested in joining this guild. Plus the guild name appeals to me. "Hurricane, the Alliance guild that will sweep away with strong winds, the Horde fools that dare cross its raging path, deafening creatures with roaring thunder, and devastating Azeroth to a more fitting shape!". I'll be playing from server launch, and this seems to be a great fit in terms of community and attitude. I started WoW just before TBC launch, raiding semi-hardcore and being a pretty high ranked arena player, but I never really got to experience Vanilla (I rolled a character towards the very end of nostalrius, so only made it to level 25). I plan on rolling a Dwarf Warrior (yes, I know alot of warriors, but I just love tanking). I'll level up a healer as an alt after that ; probably a Druid. Sorta depends on if i have a solid group, as it looks like rabid instancing is going to be the fastest way to 60 once launch.
