Suddenly Getting Instantly Disconnected when logging in

I've been playing all day. Finally got around to turning on some addons logged in to configure them and was disconnected within a few minutes. Happy to supply list of addons if that's relevant.

have been waiting and try to login back yet fail for more than 3 hours since sudden disconnection!!! Saw one tweet it said for maintenance for 20-30min but it delete immediately, why? anyone can say something to rest our mind?

You accidentally tried to login to the test realm. You have three options:

- Press escape right as it says "success" to get a realm selection.

- Delete the whole line containing "set realmname blablabla" in /WTF/config.wtf

- Delete the entire /WTF/config.wtf mentioned above. You'll lose some graphic and interface settings if you do this.

i couldnt seen success but thats a instant dc from server,and  to delete the WTF contants also dont help,ja,graphici and interface settings is lost,and the problem stills there,instant dc from server,that continues 3 hours and i restart my modem also dont help anything

Have the same issue starting this morning. I enter the login screen, enter credentials, then receive message "Disconnected from the server" instead of realmlist or character select screen.

 

Tried deleting WTF-Interface-WDB folder, didn't help. Tried removing config.wtf. Didn't help. Tried reinstalling the client, didn't help.

 

One thing people advise on RU part of the forum (someone have similar issues today) is check by direct network connection if you use router - insert the cable right to your PC network socket. I can't check it due to cable length limitations. Going to try VPN as I suspect that can be network provider related issue, either on my provider or on some new Nost anti-DDOS settings.

 

If you can try direct connection or VPN, please try and let me know if it helped.

hi guys. I have tried so many ways to fix this problem. After I patient running out, I just keep logging instantly I got "disconnect" and it is like several tryouts I got to my PvP character list. Hope this will do some help for your guys! See you in Azeroth!

Thanks for this advise, I spammed credentials 5-6 times after it and was just able to log in.

then i used VPN then get log in,but ping is over 500,im in germany,normal should be 30,but they dont solve the dc problem,dont have other choice but dont want to waste chrismas holidays

This worked for me, I feel stupid. I tried logging in, get instant d/c the first time, try again, and it worked.

I logged in for about 5 minutes.. logged out to install questie, now it doesn't let me in

I'm afraid of spamming it too much because I don't want to be a pain on the server.. but I have tried about 10 times already and can't get it

I tried uninstalling questie but it made no difference

EDIT: to be clear, it's the same issue of disconnecting before reaching character select

Second EDIT: My friend says she can still see me in game - I think I remember not logging out but force quitting the window!
