Desolo 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) The Beginner's Guide says: Nostalrius PvP is the original Nostalrius realm, launched in February 2015. It's timeline is currently at patch 1.8 for raids and itemization. This means that it has the following raids available: Molten Core, Onyxia's Lair, Alterac Valley, Blackwing Lair, and Zul'Gurub. Player-versus-Player combat is enabled everywhere and you should expect brutal and bloody combat as integral part of your gaming experience. Nostalrius PvE was launched in September 2015. It's timeline is currently at patch 1.5 for raids and itemization. This means that it has the following raids available: Molten Core, Onyxia's Lair, Alterac Valley. Player-versus-Player combat is disabled by default, though players can opt-in to PvP combat by toggling their PvP flag on. This is done by clicking on your character portrait or by typing /pvp in the chat box. But what does it mean in particullar? Are there no Battlegrounds/Arena at PvE server and simultaneously no PvE raiding (BRD, MC, Zul etc...) on PvP server at all? birday 1 Report post Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) The difference only applies to the open world. You can attack any player of the opposite faction on the PvP server. On the PvE server you can't, unless they flag themselves for PvP. Edited December 27, 2016 by birday

fifteenguys 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2016 Played WoW for 12 years and doesn't know the difference between PvP and PvE server
Nostalrused 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2016 Honestly the largest difference between the PvP and the PvE server is that the PvE server doesn't have a single good guild, be it for PvE or PvP. If you're looking for a casual experience go PvE, if you want a choice between a vast amount of guilds with different playstyles and ambition; go PvP.
AshixBorden 4 Report post Posted December 28, 2016 So let me get this straight. You claim to be playing wow for 13 years, but wow is 12 years old. You also think that PvE servers have no BG's and PvP servers have no raids or dungeons. Something isn't quite right here.
