Guilty 3 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Hello! Im thinking about starting a fresh run on Elysium, but i do have some questions in addvance. Ive gathered up some of them on which i cant find the ansver. Elysium timeline: Seeing that some patches are a good year away, is timeline up for change or is it going to stay this way? It is very demoralizing to see that, for exp., NAXX realese is scheduled in 2018/9. Any idea if these dates can be shortened ?? Nosta. If your goal is to raid in Naxx, you should go to one of the old servers. No, they won't change the timeline. 8 minutes ago, Guilty said: Nosta. NO, i want a fresh start, but i dont want to wait 2years for Naxx. I think im not alone in this. Its the only thing that is bad in order to start on Fresh server. Xom 8 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 I'm sorry you find it demoralizing when considering playing a game how it was designed. "Dear Nintendo, I like Donkey Kong a lot but why so many levels? Is there any way to remove the middle two so I can get to the Princess faster?" It's okay. The long patch cycles mean you will have less of a chance to miss out on seeing content. You have that much more time to level to 60 and gear up for raids, and then gear up in those raids for future raids. If patch cycles were faster you would be pressured to no-life it all the time or else fall drastically behind everyone who has the time to play hours upon hours every single day. Having a well-paced and lengthy patch cycles will allow you to stop playing for a week or two or even a month or two without returning to everyone miles away form you progression-wise. It's how the game was meant to be played - in order to keep the progression curve at least attainable by people who just fresh reached 60 during BWL or AQ40. If you don't want to wait 2 years for Naxx then you roll on the old PvP or PvE. Simple as that. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(TheReal) Krom 7 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Everyone seems so pressed to rush on Naxx, but seem to forget that well when Naxx is farmed game iz ded. There is huge grinding things to do in Vanilla WoW.
