shankerchief 2 Report post Posted January 10, 2017 Good morning everyone. I hope you have enjoyed the launch. Just want to say many thanks to all the hard working Dev / Community team! I managed to get on Saturday and create my toon after waiting 4ish hours from the initial launch. I played right through to 5am, getting him to about level 12, where I then logged off to catch up on sleep (mistake!). Since then I’ve not been able to get back in. I queued for 8 hours on Sunday with no luck, and then 14 hours yesterday, finally managing to get in around Midnight, just in time for the anti-afk patch and server resets.It seems to me that getting into the server is pretty much a case of luck. You numpties at Elysium built a server so good that it doesn’t crash, even with 10k+ players running around all in the same zones. Meaning the only way you can play, is if you try beat the login queue immediately after a server reset or patch (Any apps for this? Push notifications for server going down would be great!).Anyways, I’m not here to moan about the Log-In-Gods. Anyone that’s played a server launch before should know what to expect and be prepared to do something else! Just wanted to reiterate my appreciation for the Elysium Staff and the work they have done / are doing. Dynamic respawns are working fantastic from what I could see, making it more than viable to grind/quest even in the most congested of starting areas. I have not seen any sort of major lag besides a 10 minutes period on the Saturday launch! Not had a single gold selling message / spam. Anti-AFK-Character selection screen measures in place to help reduce queue beef. Hoping I can get back from work tonight and play some more, even though it’s super unlikely! Fingers crossed for a 2nd server that can be merged at a later date! Here's to staying positive and continuing a successful launch!
