well yeah, it's pretty obvious that Blizzard is doing something. There's literally nothing for Nostalrius to gain from doing this. They're only going to gain the eternal hatred of the vanilla community.

There's no evidence for this. It's all speculation and supposition. It's a reasonable line of thought, but there's no factual backing to it. You can't say, "THIS IS THE REASON!" on just those merits.
