ironskillet2 2 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) -resolved- A internal discussion took place to attempt to prevent this kind of behavior from happening again. I appreciate the response to this situation from their GM Rhys And i appreciate the response from the person previously mentioned, very much appreciated. gangstabitch 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 if he won the need roll how is he a ninja looter? he won it now he can do whatever the hell he wants with it, deal with it
ironskillet2 2 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 ah, so its okay for, lets say a druid to need on plate just because he can, and therefore can do whatever he wants with it? yes very appropriate behavior. If you want to behave that way that is your decision, but don't expect to get into groups as often after behaving that way

IE you can learn the pattern, or use the item and it's an upgrade. Needing just to sell? That's the kind of stuff that will get you blacklisted rather quickly. Or atleast used to in the original vanilla.
Glenzig 34 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 Set up your loot rules before you start. Include items that you don't think will drop because they are so rare. When you invite random people, and you don't set your loot rules, you can't call someone a ninja for winning a roll.
Clear Toby 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 lol @ that guilt trip about the other mage getting hacked if anything, I'd feel better with the epic in the hands of someone who can protect their account
Gunari 3 Report post Posted January 19, 2017 You don't need roll so you can sell it. That would be a greed roll.

The other mage rolled appearantly on it just to sell it. Everyone else in that group could do that, but only mages could actually use the pattern. So if you can't/won't use it, roll greed or risk getting called a ninja looter.

That's totally understandable. And I agree on principal. However, if there is no discussion of loot rules before a run, everything boe can be needed on by anyone in reality. When you're in a pug, you don't really care what other people can use for gear. Everyone can use money. Most people are going to roll to win on be items unless there are some clearly defined loot rules. And even then, they'll probably do it about 40%. I'm not condoning the need roll. But, let's just be realistic. It's random people that were invited into a run, and there were no loot rules discussed. There's really no reason to call people out as ninjas, when you weren't worried enough about the loot to even set basic loot rules.
