Are BGs Active on Your Server

Recommended Posts

This past week I queued up in the late 20s for the first time.  This was on Darrowshire.  When it popped, the teams ranged from 4-6 players.  Afterwards, I made level 1's on the other servers and did /who Gulch, and there were a lot of players shown on all of the PVP servers (50ish).  After that, I leveled up to about 15 on Zeth'Kur and did /who Gulch again, and this time it showed 10 players (all 10-19)---and then an hour later zero.  So now I am confused, are people playing BGs, or is /who not working properly (like it isn't reliable--or it only shows you level range).

Darrowshire is the PvE server so your mileage will vary.

From what I have seen the 19 twink can be active but if you really want to BG hit 60.

People are trying to level right now, not twink. Expect lvl 60 bgs to be active and 10-19 possibly 20-29

It's not a surprise to hear that the PvE server doesn't have active BG pops, also the newest PvP server with the lowest population not having many active BGs is not surprising.

For what it's worth, Nostalrius (now Anathema) is the only private server I've ever played on that had and still has a constant <5 min Alterac Valley queue time at all times of day, and instant pop with 2-3 concurrent games during primetime. I'm sure the Elysium PvP server, which is now the most populated server, will have even more when people hit 60.

PvP population is one of the reasons I selected this server to call my home.
