Songflower

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Is it considered an exploit to do a countdown over voip and for 20 people to take one songflower at the same time? Or is there a max number of people for which it is considered ok to do so?

If it is bannable; Can you consider decreasing the spawn timer of songflower plants? I think they were on a 15 minute respawn timer on Nostalrius. A 25 minute respawn timer may be blizzlike, but with 3-4 times as many players, songflower buffs becomes too exlusive.

Regards,
Wersia

I believe people were banned in Nostalrius for a similar issue but I don't remember the exact circumstances.

You should ask Mimma or Nelythia.

On Nostalrius, I think this was the last official statement about it, which basically said it was not ok but...meh, but they were going to fix it so it wasn't possible.  If snow said it's ok here, must be ok.  Need Pottu to return from his exile, wherever he is:

Greetings,

Last weekend, 3 players were banned for duping specific quest items in Felwood. After the research done by players, it appeared that this bug isn't a major one and as a consequence, cannot lead to a permanent closure of an account. As a result, those 3 accounts are now unbanned. The following items gathered will be deleted from their accounts. From what we saw of the accounts, some of them already have a "last warning" applied prior to the ban, so please check the Terms of Use and feel free to report any abnormal issues in-game. A log has been applied to monitor abusers and a fix is going to be applied in order to prevent any players from abusing this mechanism again.

Best regards.

I tried talking to a gm, but he had no idea if it was an exploit. He said I should talk to QA.

Since the post from GM Snow is removed; is it possible to get a response on this? A simple yes/no would help a lot.

You can't group loot the songflower anymore.

Only one person can cleanse it and then another person can use the cleaned flower as well.

This was regarding group looting root, not buffing songflower.
