Just take a moment to think like a rational person for a sec. Sure there are some major changes around the project at the moment - would be amazing if someone on staff could provide a little bit of information but really ppl need to put their big boy/girl pants on and just enjoy the game for a bit.

 

1) Population suddenly dove from 30-40K concurrent to 15-20K concurrent (across all realms) 

Have any of you noticed how few Chinese players there are at the moment? The Chinese government cracks down on VPN's and over night half of the population disappears. Its sad for them, sure it reduces the population playing but nothing this or any other project can do about it.

Admins: Any chance you could provide any guidance on the # of Chinese client's connecting at the moment? bet its nearly 0.

 

2) OMG the staff have abandoned us!

Has the quality of the server dropped? the reliability? (Sure the patch was rocky but if u played on bliz vanilla retail then you'd know the patch wasnt that rocky at all) Pings? So far i havnt seen any real evidence that the server is any less impressive than it was a month ago, infact if anything they are continuing to fix things and continuing to prepare for new content.

Admins: any chance you could maybe just provide guidance on whether your still thinking the Anathema AQ timeline is still locked in?

 

Summary:

Sure, it would be really nice if the staff got out ahead of some of these tin-foil had issues. Be more proactive in calming the ruffled feathers of a community that only just recently went through doomsday but they are humans who make errors. Give them some credit for what they have achieved and only hold against them what they fail to achieve (i.e. dont focus on rumors/conjecture)

Guys one question offtopic: Whats up with dueling in front of SW? :D I mean, I played wotlk before for 8 years and you can see lot of people at anytime dueling in front of sw or orgeimar. Whats up with that here? :D

For point 1 : The hype is down, it's a normal thing happen at every mmo launch.

while ppl search for groups or wait for a BG to pop they often go infront of the city and duel to bridge the time
