No, that's not it. I'm also getting that message randomly when I try to connect. Seems like the login server is fucking up again.

I was having the Connect/Disconnect happen also when trying to login to Elysium. I was able to login to Anathema with no problem. When attempting to change realms from Anathema to Elysium, I was disconnected. 

 

I was able to successfully login to Elysium just now though.

Update: I was able to log in and am now in game on Elysium 

Update 2: I was now disconnected after being on for 3 minutes and can't log in again.

Logged in for 5 minutes, got disconnected, cannot log back in now, stuck at authenticating.

also can't log in. Merchant locked up. Forced me out and I can connect but can't get into the realm

got disconnected around the same time this thread was made. was able to log in a few minutes ago, but now i'm back to insta disconnects.  elysium server horde

 

Edit: i just want to add that this also increases the immersion of playing classic =-)

Try running your exe as administrator and compatibility mode for Windows 8. And can you copy/paste your config.wtf here?

Deleting the WTF folder only removed our preference for the Elysium PvP server, which pulls up the server list.  Choosing a different server from here works fine.  This leads me to believe that we are currently temp banned from Elysium PvP only.

What was everyone doing when they dc'd.  I was using a macro to find more people for an elite quest.  I do not believe I was spamming it too much as I only use it once every 20-30 seconds or so.

I was farming Boars and drakes in redridge to level up.

i was trying to talk to a deathguard person in silverpine forest the first time i got Dc'd.  when i was able to log in again, i turned the quest in and went to the next quest. was  waiting for a named NPC to spawn in a barn when i got dc'd again.

Ok well the fact that some people got through and got temp banned again minutes later is making this feel like some faulty flag system is booting people.  Could be for any number of reasons but so far only people from the mid-west in the States have said anything.
