Hi, 

 

Which patch gives linked reputation and shared rep gain?

(Where you for example get rep for each major city if you do a quest for one. (1000rep UC, org, TB and trolls gain also a %)

 

and if this is implemented, does is recalculate backwards?

Is my question clear? 

I have seen it work on vanilla. there is little to no info finding it online. 
For example when working toward exalted for capitals. It is nice if there is splash rep

Your question is very unclear. Some quests does award rep to several factions at once, some other quests dont. I dont believe this was ever changed in vanilla. Grinding city rep in vanilla was hard and expensive depending on race/faction.

Yes there is the stated rep, this could be for multiple factions. The rep as you see it in the log after you turn in a quest.

At some point there was a change that outside of this log message of one or more reps, all linked reps would also be increased by a certain percentage. 

 

Is this a mechanism that you recognize?

It wasn't in vanilla and I don't think it appeared in TBC either. Or perhaps very late when Blizz started to seriously ruin the game (patch 2.3 onwards). Most quests do not give faction-wide reputation in vanilla, only a small handful do.
