Mature black dragon sinew

So, primary this item drops off of onyxia, but rumors says it should drop off of any black dragons from burning steppes aswell, 2 of my guildies said they got drop of it there on elysium and valkyre, also wowwiki says it also should drops there, wowhead comments also says this. And here i am, grinding those dragons for some hours already and still have no drops, is it a bug or what? Here is the confirmations:   Wowwiki Wowhead 3rd coment

No, it does not drop off of "any black dragon", it only drops from Ony.

 

Look at the dates on those Wowhead comments. The one saying that it drops from dragons in burning steppes is from 2009...that was Wrath, not vanilla.

wellm there is also reports that this item did drop from those dragons given by my guildies who played on this server before nost merging

Then it was a bug/bad scripting, because it should not be dropping from any black dragon, it should only drop from Ony.

It was a rare drop off the black dragonspawn on the old Elysium server, but I'm convinced it was implemented incorrectly.  I'm fairly certain that wasn't possible until after vanilla, or was implemented in a very late patch in vanilla.

One of my guildies got a sinew from the black dragons in SG few days ago.  Took him 25ish kills to get it.  We are on the PVE server.

thats weird since i killed like 200 of them total (elites mostly) and still no drop, ould be a nice to hear from a gm

Should not ever be possible to drop by anyone except Onyxia in 1.12.1
