How Does Enslave Demon Work?

Recommended Posts

How long does it last?

How many times can it be reenslaved realistically?

Are either of these different with an elite demon? If so, how different?

Can you keep an enslaved demon and your demonic sacrifice buff at the same time?

I doubt it but I may as well ask, do talents like Fel Intellect and Fel Stamina apply to enslaved demons as well?

I'd love to be able to level up near a demon patch and keep an enslaved demon with me, but I may want to roll another class if this skill isn't as useful as I'm hoping, and I don't want to have to wait til level 30 to find out. Please halp!

enslave works horribly, at least in instances. The demon is very likely to freeze in place and not respond. At that point you're stuck with a demon you can't use or get rid of. It may or may not randomly unfreeze at some point...

doesn't always work. But good advice because sometimes it does.

Not sure what patch you're in, but you rarely have the opportunity to enslave demons.  The three second cast time will get you killed when the demon turns on you, as it can break at any time.  I've used it on those elite demons in wintersprings to do a little bit of farming, but when those felguards turn on you, you don't have a lot of time to weigh your options before you're three shot.
