Drehar 2 Report post Posted March 26, 2017 I play on Anathema, Weeks ago I was told to Delete my WDB. After that I noticed all of the BRD and LBRS gear was Better quality. Revo 34 Report post Posted March 27, 2017 15 minutes ago, Drehar said: Did they do something wrong and make the loot better, tell us to delete our WDB files then change it back to the worse loot? lul. your wdb doesnt change drops. and deleting it only causes your client to re-download it from the server the next time you connect. so delete = refreshing your wdb. your WDB also only determines the items stats you see, which do not have to be the actual stats anymore if the server changed them, thats why ppl frequently delete their wdb to keep it up-to-date. but it does not change droprates from bosses etc. what item drops and with what chance is 100% server side. they can obviously alter the dropchances but it is very unlikely theyre chaning it a lot @BRD, so you just had luck in 1 run, and back luck on the other 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Drehar 2 Report post Posted March 27, 2017 Yes, I understand that WDB is just a cache of information returned when I make a request to the server for item information for ID 1485. I guess I didn't explain my self well enough. When I started playing on this server All of the dungeon loot had its original stats. (10stam 10 int 10 spirit). There was a server message 3 weeks that said to Delete your WDB folder. I deleted my WDB folder and the same (10stam 10 int 10 spirit) Item was now (10stam 10int +10 damage and healing). Just yesterday I deleted my WDB folder and now the same upgraded loot stats have returned to their original. Revo 34 Report post Posted March 27, 2017 2 minutes ago, Drehar said: Did Elysium update the stats on accident then change them back? possibly. maybe you should tell what item(s) you are refering to so somebody can tell. e.g. pvp items are/were stronger than they shouldve been. also keep in mind that elysium is trying to patch items "progressivly" so they change every now and then. and also keep in mind that you only have 1 WDB folder per client installed, so if you are playing on several servers that run on different patches, with different items and different WDBs, you always only get the one from where you connect to first. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Drehar 2 Report post Posted March 27, 2017 When I first started playing the Demonshear was a 2.3 speed 2h weapon 99 -149 damage with the same proc. I deleted my WDB folder 3 weeks ago and it became this http://db.vanillagaming.org/?item=13348 .
