So I couldnt find a post about this, sorry if it as already been addressed! But is there a way to request for a name that is taken that you want? If you been trying to see if the person ever comes online and havent seen them? Any information appreciated!

Probably not from the staff but you can always make a request here on the forum. Some community member might be just sitting on it and might be nice enough to give it to you. I guess. Maybe. I dunno if there's nice enough people here.

That is not allowed, so you won't ;-)

 

To OP: GM's does not support releasing unused names. Neither did they in retail until cataclysm or so.
