Dumb question, but while polymorphed are you still humanoid?

Recommended Posts

Cause I was just Mind Controlled while sheeped...

Polymorph
Rank 4
150 mana
30 yd range
1.5 sec cast
Transforms the enemy into a sheep, forcing it to wander around for up to 50 sec. While wandering, the sheep cannot attack or cast spells but will regenerate very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters.

Mind Control
Rank 3
750 mana
20 yd range
Channeled 3 sec cast
Controls a humanoid mind up to level 62, but increases the time between attacks by 25%. Lasts up to 1 min.

Never mind the fact that it caused my toon to bug out by two loss of control CC's being applied to me, but are you still considered humanoid when a mage converts you to a sheep or pig?

if thats the logic, I should be able to sap druids in their forms.

Still humanoids but under the magic spell...

Their magic spell is immune toward some spells , that's the difference.

its broken game mechanics, that's it... nothing else, no philosophy.

You don't get "beast" tag while sheep'd... you get it while morphed.... otherwise I'd be able to sap druids in their forms

Yeah, this is true. While that logic would apply the spell specifically states "granting protection from Polymorph effects"

They don't change your target type; it's just a visual effect. When you eat noggen and turn into a skeleton, you're still humanoid as far as mechanics are concerned.
