Then you have to make both alliance and Horde characters as many quests are different/unique and Shaman is Horde only and Paladin Alliance only. If I was forced to recommend one faction I would say Horde because experiencing The Barrens general chat is pretty epic ;) But you will get a full (almost) experience with any faction.
