Questions about the rules

Recommended Posts

Howdy all!  Still fairly new here, but I had a couple questions about the rules and policies of Elysium.  First, i noticed some mention of multiboxing.   Am I understanding correctly that you can ONLY "multibox" for trading purposes like the goblin AH and whatnot?

Second; killing important quest npc's.  Is that just for quest givers and whatnot?  What about escorts?

Hi,

Quote

The only exception is that you may have up to two characters in the same major or goblin city temporarily, for trading, crafting, conjuring, portalling or using the Neutral Auction House to transfer items/gold to an alt.

These are the reasons that you are allowed to multibox. So you are allowed to multibox only if both characters are in the same major city/goblin city at the same time. If one is outside of the city and one is inside the city, this is against the rules.

Killing important Quest NPCs is largely up to GM discretion. This is mainly aimed towards preventing griefing, or malicious intention to waste a players time. For example, it is fine to raid a town and kill any NPC you want with no regard to their function. But if you continue killing the same NPC for hours and hours, and you are preventing players from handing in or continuing quests, you may be asked to stop. The same generally goes for escorts, because they can become bugged due to player intervention. One easy example of this is the "In Dreams" quest that many players grief.

I hope that clears things up for you!

It does, thank you.   I'm a little sad, one of my favorite things to do on another server was to gank people, and then alt-tab over to my other character so i could see them complaining about it lol....
