Major Screw-Up Honor.

Hi there,

I was highly disappointed this afternoon when I logged in to see that the honor I gained over last week didn't get calculated correctly. I started off last week with about 30% into Rank 5 (First Sergeant) And with 72871 honor gained over last week I have now progressed to 55% in First Sergeant. This is not correct and makes me feel like I'm just wasting my time. My younger brother who's about the same rank and lvl  had only half the honor I had an progressed further than I did.

 

Please fix this ASAP and let the community know what's up. There's many people with the same issue

They did a double honor calculation, fixing the mistake from last week. My guess is that your rank was higher than it was supposed to be because of last week's error, and then it was adjusted back down today, before adding the points from this week. Therefore it looks like you didn't get as much as you were supposed to get, but in reality you did.

Good guess, but not true. The week before had about 20k and progressed from somewhere in rank 4 to rank 5. That was about 60% rank gain. Didn't seem correct either. I'd like for a moderator/admin to respond.

The only day that didn't get recovered for this last reset was the 25th. Besides that, everything was recovered.

I'd appreciate it if you'd look into my character. As I said, my younger brother had a lot less honor than I did, but progressed more.

sounds like you played on tuesday last week so the 20k gave u a good amount of rp because the standings were broken due to the bug. when they removed the calculation form tuesday you lost your "unfair" progress and + your 70k this week you ended up where you should have been. atleast thats how it was for me. unfortunately i didnt play on tuesday so i got decayed bigtime lost about 50% in my r9, and now im back at 77% , restored the decay from tuesday misscalc and got my 2 weeks of 120-140k ish back. seems alright

so basically i believe the people shouting the fix didnt work either played on tuesday and got advantage last week so they feel like they got decayed or didnt progress as much as they thought or / and they are missing their tuesday honor at all, which is the case if they played tuesday.

fix for this would be to restore the tuesday honor somehow, but that would mean you have to do the whole calc again.

I get what you're saying Crixx, but from my experience 73000 on lower ranks is a lot of honor. The week before I got about 15000 and was able to promote with that. Just doesn't seem right. But perhaps you're right and my experience and understanding of the honor system is outdated. It is ofcourse, not about honor points but about ranking points.

i was highly disappointed this afternoon when I logged in to see that the honor I gained over last week didn't get calculated correctly. i was r7 with 85 % in and i got 100k honor this week and only moved to 90 % thats really discouraging trying to rank and getting nothing for the credit i did all week can you please fix this asap please

DO GMS not answer peoples questions about what the issue is? I mean this is the help page and no GMs are even touching on the issue most people went down in ranks or lost honor 2 weeks in a row and still no real response to this other than trying to fix for last week even though most people went down both or didnt gain the proper increase.

Agree.. Last week people's didn't have the hnr, now it's fixed.

Now another problem, common bois we give you $$ for your server's ;)

Mine felt off too.  I got around 20k honor at rank 4 and did not get promoted.  I woulda thought that was plenty for such a low rank.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. 72k at First Sergeant (rank 5)  and only got 25-30% progression towards rank 6..

Oh lordy, please fucking fix this. I'm pvping now and feel like a clown, because quite frankly I lost all trust that honor will actually be calculated.

If this doesn't get fixed I'll prolly give up on pvp. Which means I'm done with the whole Elysium Project.

We appreciate that you are concerned about your honor and ranking. That's why we have an official announcement up about this. Please try to remain calm, the world is not ending, there are a great many things to fix but keep in mind that most of the staff have day jobs and already devote every  last hour they can afford to the project. Things take time.

The honor calculations have been done, however final ranking fixes and updates are still being progressed. Unfortunately , as announced previously several times now, we are unable to recover honor from the 25th.

Way more people swelling up these mid-tier ranks than you have experienced previously.
