Bartender2: show empty button slots?

All the advice I read to show empty button slots suggests that there are boxes to click in Bartender and in the WOW Interface tab.  If there are, damned if I can find them.  Any ideas how to show the empty slots?

for bartender options: /bar

to move bars: /bar lock

to hide/show bar 1: /bar bar1 show

no idea, maybe you can use cycircled to display it.

cyCircled - changes the look of various buttons (mostly action bar buttons) [Img1]

Phyery, I just tried what you said. And it is not possible to show the empty slots background. It only shows when you are dragging a spell and it is set to do so.
You would have to change the addon's code to always show the background.

You can however, always show the hotkeys by going to interface optinos and checking "always show action bars"

it IS possible to show your not used action bars, with, Cycircled and Bartender, i managed to make it work
