Hopefully it happens to very few people since being forced to play on a server you had no intention of playing on is not conducive to the overall health of the project. 100% agree -- the worst part was its not like they said Anathema from the beginning.. they had stated clearly Elysium would be the default location, and then flopped it 2 weeks prior to the deadline. I feel like we will be seeing a lot of issues like this soon as people start to come back and realize the script was flipped.. I cant think of a single scenario where someone would be excited to be on a realm with a completely different timeline and different age.. The kind of player who would want to accelerate would be the kind who was logging on daily and proactively seeking out Anathema as a destination to accelerate their own timeline. I think this will make a lot of people quit and be a net loss for the community rather than a net gain :( Hopefully we will see optional transfers in the future, maybe even paid ones.. it sounds like a lot of work though and you wouldnt want to take legit anathema characters back onto Elysium, but maybe and exception can be made for sub-60 players who missed the 2 week window, or perhaps just auto remove any gear thats beyond progression level of the current destination server. I wouldnt mind that as a solution, and I would bet lots of people would pay good money for it as a donation option as well.
