indi 10 Report post Posted July 5, 2017 Currently she has a 2 hour spawn rate, and as you know, resetting the quest even if another player is failing his attempt is considered griefing so everyone has to wait 2 hours before another attempt can be made. My suggestion is drastically increasing her spawn time to 5 or 10 minutes between attempts due to the massive population of our server and the make up of the players (many Horde Priests are Chinese for example and walk right up to the quest without waiting in line causing a reset). An increase in spawn time would allow a much larger amount of players through without the build up of players who are more likely to grief the quest on accident or start PvPing in the area. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If staff can't monitor this for griefing and correct the spawn if griefing occurs, then other changes should be made to account for this. I already tried it yesterday after 5hours of waiting, got reset several times without me wanting it and had to leave due to no consumables after that. A lot of stuff got changed due to high pop (and since its more than 10years old, back in the days not a lot of ppl knew about this quest), brd got nerfed so the economy is more stable. Living Essence droprate from packs is nerfed for the same reason. Herb respawn is changed. There might be no-grief rules, but ppl still do it. And if its the same faction theres nothing you can do about it. I dont think this quest was designed as torture or a test of patience, so please help us out here! EDIT: Shoutout to Thari and Ilse. Pottu 290 Report post Posted July 12, 2017 Resetting the quest IF the player who is doing it asks for a reset is allowed. Priests successfully completed this quest back on Nostalrius. Illij_ 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2017 (edited) If I've waited in a line of 5-6 players for 2.5hrs to have an incompetent player fail the quest without letting anyone know and make everyone wait 2 more hours without any of my fault or possible recourse. If I assume that the player is incompetent and reset it for him because he didn't know what to do, I'm griefing. If the horde get angry about some alliance player who they think cut in line and the alliance player can't talk to them about it or settle it, then they just constantly reset the quest which makes everyone sit for hours. If its fun for you is irrelevant. this is a issue that can easily be solved by communicating with your fellow priests, and helping them reseting, instead of just standing there watching the guy fail. Some is, but using the few chinese that play outside the chinese prime hours is a bad example. They can read the English messages fine, they just may not understand what you are saying.
