ERROR #121 (0x85100079) version mismatch

DBFilesClient/VideoHardware.dbc has wrong number of columns

(found 19,expected 22)

 

hey i downloaded this game XD and it gave this error when i tried to run WoW.exe

i did edit the realm list as directed

Try deleting wdb and wtf folder if you haven't already. This error usually means game isn't on the correct patch. It might be useful to look through your config.wtf file to see if there is anything obvious that is incorrect with it

We can't even find the file. He's on windows 10 so everything is really wonky compared to what im used to. He downloaded the same torrent on the main page that I did, so he should have the file. Any idea on how to find it?

 

 

Edit: So he doesn't even have a config.wtf in his wtf folder. That might be the problem. How do we fix it?

If the fresh install doesnt work, do you think it would work if he used my config.wtf? Also he doesnt have an anti virus, so im puzzled as to what it could be that is deleting the files.

 

Edit, the fresh install didn't work and it didnt work when i gave him my config.wtf.

Okay, make sure the folder is in a place that admin can access all permissions (i.e. desktop) also try running wow.exe as admin. Let me know how that goes.
