Armkron 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2017 (edited) First of all, I'm looking for guidance gearing-wise. Which pieces are easy to obtain (reputations, crafting, quest) or must-haves. If I should stick to mostly mail (for survivability) or should go for some cloth/leather ones for more raw damage. Then stat priority and possible upgrades would be nice. I'm still in the leveling process so... And last, any general tips (regarding profession choice, macroing, racial use, etc) would be appreciated. I'm not a new shaman yet my vanilla experience is null so any help is welcome. PS: I'm leveling on Elysium server. childchild 36 Report post Posted August 3, 2017 What server are u playing? Elysium? Anathema? My advise is to start ranking to r10 for some good pieces, witch also give u warsong reputation rings. U can equip lvl58 and lvl 48 ones. Deep Earth Spaulders is easy to get in any mc pug. Zandalar Augur's Hauberk from ZG is really nice and easy too. Have a look at Hand of Edward the Odd, its rly nice wep if u dont have exalted with arathi or something like lok'amir. Also, there is nice cloak from hinterlands elite quest, that wasnt in game when I completed those quests ;-(
Tronco 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2017 Priority for PVP is (stat wise) Hit cap>Spell damage>Stamina>Crit>Int>Mp5 Regardless of AC. Shield makes up for the AC lost. Professions, Engineery+mining, the one and only
suhail1200 3 Report post Posted September 17, 2017 Profession wise could go engi+(anything really) but I would say blacksmith for the fear trinket. Go for mail gear which has magical dmg+healing on it or just raw magical dmg or even if it has just crit chance with sta/int.Their isn't much leather pieces with magical dmg so u must downrank to cloth which isn't good.U should always wear all mail unless u really have to downrank gears. U could start with leveling your PvP rank as ele/healer and getting few of your pieces like that.

No. Mail armor wont save you from melee if you fail to kite. Use whatever best stats you can get regardless of its armor type. First rule of elemental shaman, dont let melee touch you
Rafale 6 Report post Posted September 19, 2017 Mail help a lot against heavy melee premades. You re not a mage and cannot blink, so be sure melee will try to focus you. GL with rogues/wars/hunts with full cloth. So,keep mail or leather at least

suhail1200 3 Report post Posted September 19, 2017 Shaman lacks control which other casters have.Their is a reason shaman is given a shield and mail armor so make the most of it! I would say pvp priority would be hit>crit>sta/spell dmg>int>mp5.Reaching hit cap+around 33% crit and after that stack as much spell dmg u can get.
Tamanous 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2017 For leveling it's easy: Stack a crap ton of nature damage gear and blow up stuff before it gets to you. Typically this means you engage first. End game: what other's said.
