Problem with Nost Character Transfer

Hey guys,

Last year I had transfered my lvl 59 orc warrior from Nostalrius PVE to Elysium using Nost's key generator tool. I had asked on the big old "Nost transfer issues" thread but it never got fixed. Maybe because things were a little bit crazy back then and the staff had no time to check on everything that went wrong.

Now I logged to my account and it says

"Your Nostalrius transfer was successful!
However, it seems the account you just transferred has no characters on it!"

So, the transfer was indeed successful, but why my character isn't there is a mystery. Can someone help me with that?

From what I recall, some time after the Nost team backed out of the arrangement, the Elysium devs did a purge of character data.  I don't know the exact method they used to determine who to purge, but it was something along the lines of whether or not the character "existed" on the server (i.e, logged into the world on Elysium's server).

If your character was stuck in limbo at the time, and you were never able to successfully log on to play him, I'm sorry for your loss but he's gone for good.  I have several friends/guildies that had to reroll due to similar issues.

The character restoration software that we have now will be very unlikely to be able to retrieve any character that old, assuming that they were actually transferred. To be honest, it's a waste of time even thinking about it. If you insist, https://forum.elysium-project.org/topic/47158-character-restoration-overview/ is your only route.

Last time I checked, the name was still reserved on the server. So maybe there's still a chance. I'll check that again in a few minutes.

The message on your control panel does not reflect whether those characters are present on the game servers. You would have to log onto the actual game realms to check whether they are on Anathema.

Thanks! I'm trying to log in but while I was away my account got banned somehow. Once this is fixed, I'll check for everything and start the character restoration process as Spionida suggested.
