Player Location, Quest Scripting and Server Dilemma

Hello,

Old WoW player here who played retail WoW from 2006-2009 and a Vanilla private server in 2009/2010 called Forsaken WoW. This Elysium project sounds interesting and I would like to ask some questions about it. Any response is very much appreciated. 

I will be playing here based in Ireland and since the Elysium servers are located in France (I think), would I experience much lag (while my internet connection in good ) because of this?

I have played a private server before (7 years ago) and the escort quests were mostly broken. How is the questing (including group, escort and instance questing) on these servers? Has the technical ability of the developer/server technology improved since 2010?

After scrolling through the forums, it seems that the Elysium server is by far the most populous, and the players of the other servers are not content when leveling. To what degree is this true? Does it feel like a ghost town when questing in popular zones (The Barrens, Westfall, Strangle Thorn Vale for example)? Is it difficult to find groups for instances or even quests? The private server I played on in 2009/2010 would sometimes peak at 200 players, so I know that a lack of players around can suck a lot of the fun out that made Vanilla WoW such great game.

Honestly I think the lag on Elysium is not as bad as people make it sound like, sure the disconnects are quite common lately, but the lag is pretty mild most of the time IMO.

Play on elysium pvp. Do not play on anathema as its the oldest server (old nost) elysium has the freshest player and patches so its the best experience.

Anathema players will disagree and shill for their server because the pop went down a bit.

This server doesn't compare to FG, FG was a piece of trash that you could swallow and digest and reshit it afterward compare to elysium.

Most of the quests works, mobs are scripted, instances are, surely you will find bugs once in awhile but it happens and it isn't a perfect server.

Lag on elysium is something annoying, but isn't as dramatic as most players pretend it to be, the server is lag free during the night and most days, during the peaks you''ll experiences some delay sometimes, it really wasn't affected me very much, but i have yet tried pvp at 60, thus cannot truly knows how it feel.

Elysium is the right choice, they just opened naxx on anathema, if you want to pvp agaisn't t3 and shit go ahead, darrowshire is dead and pve + faction inbalance is terrible there
