Finding pick up groups

I'm completely new to Elysium and was just wondering, in general, across all the servers... how hard is it to find pick up groups for dungeons as you're leveling? That was my favorite part about vanilla. Granted, it wasn't even always easy to find groups back then, but it made it so much more rewarding when you did

Curiously, it is easier to find groups when you're playing a tank-warrior and logged in during peak hours than it is to find a group as a rogue during off-hours.

Was that answer sufficiently non-empirical?

If you want to run RFK but don't speak [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [], that can also increase the time investment needed to start a PUG.

If you leveling a tank or heal - easy.

It's not hard for any class at lower levels, you have 4 classes (warrior, paladin, shaman with 1h+shield and druid) who can tank, therefore it never takes long as long as you are pleasant to play with and ask nicely. A well written invite into a party for a tank goes along way. Say you are looking for a RFK run and need a tank, you now ask the eligible classes in 1k needles if they are interested and most likely, somebody is up to the task :)

Previous posters are correct in that if you can tank, or heal, it is easy. Vanilla wow was the days of nearly every priest or warrior healing/tanking while leveling. 

I'm leveling shadow, but we have the full tool kit of someone leveling holy. Just more expensive and threat high spells. 

Anyway, my buddy is a warrior so we have tanked and healed quite a bit. On several occasions we haven't had luck finding DPs. But, we did notice (probably cause we were actively looking), many groups were full and just needed a DPs as well. 

I'd say it isn't impossible to find groups. It is def not as easy as lfg on live, and it def is not as easy as being a tank (I'll leave out healer since nearly every pally, druid, and priest will heal).

FYI we have done prot pally/feral druid tanks in the low levels just fine. Most recently RFD. Also, doing dungeons outside of finishing the quests in them isn't a good use of time. You'll be able to find better groups at higher more relevant instances as 60, with a guild. 

Thanks! Very helpful. Yea, in Vanilla I eventually realized that just grinding quests is way more efficient than lfg. But dungeons were my favorite part of the game. I was particularly fond of all the scarlet monastery ones

The best way is to find a leveling guild or get more friends through questing. At the time I am leveling my rogue, I got a tank war friend. After that I went to every dungeons at right levels. In your case, you should make some dps friends.
