Krosus 0 Report post Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) As the title says we all have to choose our way. Despite the hatred and distrust in most of us I choose to stay here. To be honest I do not trust the Elysium Staff ( You can not blame me for this.. ) BUT I do not believe in WK's Project too.. Some of the Vanilla Community see him as a hero, others do not.. For me personally, he also did something bad, namely, the division of the community, For me it is also unforgivable. What made me stay here is the desire of the team to continue despite everything that has happened and pay the price for their failure and this is commendable for me !! I admit it to you guys you have balls !! Shit Happens and we all make mistakes.. this is in our nature and thanks to our mistakes we manage to build a better version of us by learning from them. I really believe the team can learn from their mistakes and fix them but the road will be long and difficult and I am fully convinced that they know this. Especially since they lost the trust of the players but the bridges can be burned and rebuilt over time. The team needs to be aware that people will not donate after what happened and they will have to bear all the costs and work twice more to maintain the quality of the server. If they can handle with this, then I can give them a chance and stay. If they do this which I mentioned people can come back and start building their trust again it will also take a long time until it happens but I rely on the fact that if the team can continue their work on the server ( After everything ), then I can give them a chance. Do not get me wrong. I'm not here to agitate someone to stay here and leave LH. At the end we all gonna make our choice BUT let this choice to be personal.. not dictated by the masses !! Most have already made their own choice and they continued in LH and this post is rather for those who are still wondering. Regardless of the choice you will make.. Main if is said no p2w exist. I would welcome any form of fan shop where you can buy ingame things that dont influence game progress but just design etc. Mby you can do gold/lvl/items shop at PvE cuz at final everone still has almost same chance. If you do this at PvP server its hard disadvantage that can not be equalized by skill. You never avoid gold/item/rep etc traders out of staff cuz pro farmers. This is already happening in LH. The OP can be found in their forums if you think it's from another server !! Here we are talking about choices .. Not Selling Gold / Dupe Acc's and so on. Nobody gives a fuck about who stole what. I just pointed out that is funny to me that you really think that they are just going to put it all out of their pockets just so people can play a game. Lionheart 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2017 I actually tried to give LH a chance since.. after all - most of their staff aren't WhiteKidney. And even if most of the players are basically good people, I didn't exactly enjoy their laggy gold spam-ridden (a lot more so than when our servers were up) servers. But most of all I became disgusted by the savage behaviour of loud parts of their fan base. Like the wear smears and character assassinations of people who have devoted years to this community, often with ugly misogynistic and antisemitic undertones (and I'm a right-winger myself lol). Really made me felt despair about the legacy community which has always been known for its mature, adult player base compared to retail. Perhaps attracting more role players would be an option to have the right kind of people come this way? So I left those idiots pretty quickly. Decided to go play on wow mania in the meanwhile. Which is about as bug-ridden, p2w and ezmode as any HoMM game post Ubi. Might try out some other TBC or Wotlk server in the meantime. I'm a kinda broke student atm but if I was sitting on a bunch of money I didn't need, it'd sure be a pleasure to donate some to Shenna or someone else who has devoted her or his life to this project. The root of the problem is the outrageous demand that people should provide entire days of work and servers for free and get nothing in return, not even through a vanity shop or something. Blizzard doesn't work like that, and not even the asshole WK really believes in it (though it was sure a good propaganda stunt to rise power...). Nothing works like that in the real world. There's the same amount of gold spam as there's always been which is nearly 0 (I've seen 2 gold sellers in 2 weeks). The rest of your complaints are the definition of nonsense. You can donate to whoever you want for any amount that you want. If here will be new fresh sever I choose new one here at Elysium even LH make fresh server too even faster. I'm not such naive to think WK is god of justice. I like tradition and Elysium has legacy.
