Nighthaven PvP — Patch 1.3 Ruins Of Dire Maul

Dear players,

Patch 1.3 — Ruins Of Dire Maul will be available once the server is back up after the maintenance occurring at 6 PM server time. Downtime is approximately 30 minutes. So what can you expect?

Diremaul

• Diremaul is a new raid available for players at levels 56-60. It is controlled by a fierce tribe of ogres which will crush their enemies upon entering their domain. Do you dare challenge them? If you do, this raid is located within the western region of Feralas. Happy hunting, heroes.

New Outdoor World Bosses

• There are now two outdoor raid bosses which have been introduced to Azeroth. Azuregos, a fearless and monstrous blue dragon, has made a home in Azshara, while Lord Kazzak, a demon of Sargeras can be found in the Tainted Scar of the Blasted Lands.

Festive

• Although this is not related to the patch, and despite all the doom and gloom above, it is nearly Christmas. With that being said, it should snow in-game a bit more frequently!
• The Christmas and seasonal events were supposed to come out with this patch. Unfortunately, our server has a mind of its own and decided to release it yesterday!

People who have real jobs and then can have all day to fix issue post launch if things go bad during prod deployment?

 

Its a good tradeoff for the safety net we get.
