Toby 2 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 I agree. Vanity items like pets and mounts are one thing. But selling an entire T2 set? Look, i'll put my money where my mouth is to help support. I'll make a $50 donation (no shop items in exchange needed). I encourage other players to do the same to help support this server. Its cost prohibitive to attempt to buy full sets of gear from the shop. It's more to help shore up a slot or two you have been unlucky with. Although I'd never use the item shop and in an ideal world we wouldn't need it, whatever we can do to keep this server alive and populated through the release of WoW Classic and beyond should absolutely be done. I would also consider making a donation to keep the servers running if I received an email asking me to do so. I find it endlessly frustrating logging on every day to see people crowing about how they're going to abandon the server in a week to go play on WoW classic where the servers are 'more populated' and how everyone else is a stupid peasant for not doing so over a measly $15. In several areas on Nighthaven I have had to wait in a queue for mobs to respawn so I can kill them for a quest and people still say the server lacks population. I don't think those people ever played WoW on release date because everything except Ironforge was more or less abandoned after the first 6 months and world pvp was dead. 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I would pay for character transfer in future now that TBC is running, kind of doing my head in having two versions of characters and there's things I want to finish on vanilla before shifting focus to TBC. When we saw there were online cosmetic items in the shop, we decided to join Elysium. Now all of us regret this decision. All of my friends quit already and decideded to play classic when it will be up. I'm the last one who is still playing. I see the player count dropping every day and with an pay to win element, there won't be many new players joining. Pay to win is the best way to scare off potential new players. I'm a new player, I'm not scared off, I don't think the item shop is wrong, and I see lots of people in downtown Orgrimmar... so sorry for your regrets and go ahead and give bliz more of your cash on a monthly sub if you want, enjoy yourself.
