Members of the guild in question set up a private server, and renamed it Anathema. They then gave their characters gear they wanted (including AQ and Naxx gear) and uploaded it to Realmplayers to troll some of their buddies. We have already investigated this, and there is nothing to it. While a player can hide gear from another player in their bags, they cannot hide it from us. And you cannot hide a suddenly high rank in your bags of course. -- GM Smoke

Following is allowed. Just be prepared that a GM may tap you on the shoulder like a random traffic stop if you /follow too much to see if there is really another player there. We can very easily tell if there are two players or just one. Going on /follow for unattended levelling is not allowed however. Unattended play generally is prohibited. -- GM Smoke

We warn multiboxers that it is not allowed according to our rules. If they continue to multibox, then they will face sanctions, up to and including bans. In my experience very few players once warned ever multibox again - most people just don't realize it's against the rules here. The best way you can help is to report someone whenever you see suspected multiboxing. Do watch them for a while to be sure, but don't worry about it if you are wrong. We will make a determination based on our own, careful analysis of the player(s). We do try to recover accounts in some cases, but you cannot be guaranteed that we will be able to help if your account is compromised. The best approach is to make sure you are never compromised in the first place. Therefore, account security is the primary responsibility of the account owners. We advise you to: - Never use the same account details on Elysium as on any other server - Use a long, complicated password that contains both letters and numbers, with no identifiable embedded words. - Execute a password change if your password does not meet the above suggestion (and record it so you don't forget it.) - Take advantage of our IP lock capability if you have a fixed IP address - Take advantage of our Two-factor authentication.
