a pvp dilemma

Hello everyone.

I am put into a dilemma. I've got a 60 lvl warlock and now i have come to a conclusion that I need a second char for professions. But I also want this char to be good enough for pvp.

The problem is that warlocks, are the strongest class in pvp in vanilla ( and so they are according to my experience) and so my second char must be strong enough to deal with them. So I've been trying to make out which of the other classes are able to kill warlocks.

I'm quite sure that no one can be stronger than warlock in pvp so I think the only way to solve this problem is to choose the most CUNNING class: hunter.

I don't see any other solution (or maybe I just should create another lock?) Haha)

So I'd be glad to see your opinions.

So I think it is clear crystal for most of PvPers that there is NO strongest class in any kind of PvP. That means u are basically wrong and it is impossible to answer your question.

I've had an sl lock on valkyrie for three years, and I know what I'm talking about: no amount of r14 guys could ever deal with me. So that's why I say that locks are the best class in PvP on classic wow (though not interesting enough to play) Edited October 17, 2016 by Execc

Thats great, but I played on valk for three years as SL lock too. Looks like u are talking about 1 vs 1, SL lock really probably best duelist and IMHO only priest or resto druid can outlast him. In mass PvP warlock (even SL, even good geared) is easy target for warr.

Ench sham too crappy, try something like rogue/mage. At least they are more mobile and speedy and can kill most classes 1x1.

 

Hunter scales worse with gear than other classes.

rogue normaly can kill locks if he is the rigth specs and does know what he is doing     also warr specialy fury you  just cant fear him and when  really good geared its stupit

nope. Locks eat any shamans alive.

Warlocks are definitely the best duelist but this also depends on which pet they have out at the time. If they have voidwalker (they are better against rogues) if they have Felhound (they are better against mages) So if you really want to 1v1 that warlock, then having a pet that you are better against will increase your chances. Also the terrain is highly impactful when 1v1ing. If there is a lot of obstacles to hide behind then the warlock will defeat the mage through DoTs and LoS. So its all very dependent.
