Nost/Elysium Weekly Reset Time

We have scheduled maintenance every Wednesday at 03:00 AM GMT. This is the new official time and will not change. Maintenance usually lasts for 10 to 30 minutes, and during that time the honor system and rankings will update. If the server is down for any longer than the scheduled time — visit our forums and look for recent announcements. Staff test Realm is a developer sandbox and thus isn't suited for playtesting. Use Player Test Realm if you want to test the upcoming changes."

That would be Tuesday 10:00pm EST.

This will be a big issue for NA guilds across all time zones and clearly favors EU/RUS/OCE. I am not sure when this page was last updated though.

Will this be changed to appease to an international player-base? I am aware the page says no, but if this was posted before the merger announcement it could, and is worth asking.  We ran into the same issues on early Nost, which a few guilds asked for this to be pushed back as certain guilds raided up until 01:00am EST (06:00am GMT).

I know details probably can't be given at this time, but I will not be able to attend the AMA and this is big.


I will be raiding EU times, just looking out for my old homies and future NA players.

Some stuffs might change since Nostalrius merge with Elysium , so far i assume that way.

 

Don't need to worry about the Maintenance much , so far they been doing it within few minutes shutdown and then they up servers pretty quick

I'll try and ask the question if I can get to the AMA today. 10pm EST would definitely not be a good idea for server maintenance, but again, they have to be able to appease everyone, so we shall see.

Bumping this.  It is very important and more should be aware of when the current reset is in place.

 

 

Go look in guild recruitment and you'll see the amount of overlaps this will have with raiding guilds that hit it up on Tuesday nights and are not finished by 10:00est.

I like to see CET (central european time) to be main time for everyone

Reset i agree to go during Morning 06:00 CET or earlier depend on NA Guilds

The latest NA guild raids until 1:00 EST *(7:00 CET).    On Nost 1.0 it was moved as far back as 4:00 EST 10:00 CET.   I think 8 CET should work for most people, that is 2:00am US east coast, (some US guilds raid latter to include west coast guild members who are 3 hours behind).

Our guild always had to deal with the 7pm pst lag. Please consider moving the maintenance window to China's prime time. Thanks!

I missed this while browsing around looking for this answer. This is going to come up as a huge concern for most NA raiding guilds, so it would be great if we can get an answer on this. The Nost reset time they moved to was around 3am EST which is I think 9CET. That time seemed to work best for all, because it was just before the oceanic, and after the US guilds finished.

 

Hopefully this question gets answered soon, so the NA guilds can plan around this if necessary.

You literately quote me saying do it before the Oceanic guilds, and they you say it will mess with the Oceanic community.       How is a raid resetting BEFORE raid time mess up a raid?      Raids resetting in the direct MIDDLE of raid is a huge issue.    Oceanic earlest start is 7:00pm AEDT,  which is 3:00am US.   Latest US guild currently runs 1:00am est.   how dues having the server reset between this effect you?   And the "maybe it's ur turn"?  I not even raiding these times, though I bring awareness to a large percentage of people who will be effected by this.  Try again.

Pottu just said in the discord channel that reset will likely be the same time that it was on Nost. So hoping for an official announcement on it soon.

It's better they do that before your raid times than during. US got to deal with the 7 o'clock lag every day, I'm guessing they were doing db maintenance at the same time every day.

7 pm lag is because for US, the EU are still playing late night, Oceanic playing in the AM, Chiniese morning as well, for US, this is when population on server was highest.
