Dorlon 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2016 The book won't spawn or is on a very, very long spawn timer. It's being camped by at least ten warlocks at a time. This needs to be fixed before the live release, it's pretty funny honestly.

Aisar87 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2016 There will be a lot of competition in the early zones until you get to a high enough level to leave a lot of people behind. It'll get a lot better over time.

It'll get a lot better over time. It is great and terrible, I do hope the server as kept as true-to-vanilla as possible. But as a very casual player it is going to make the early part of the game boring.

Btw, there will always be some quests where you gona have to just wait for the respawn.
Keftenk 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2016 When Nostalrius opened up doing quests like that wasn't even worth attempting. With 300-500 people in each starting zone you spent hours upon hours just spamming your instant abilities to tag mobs for exp. I remember sitting in Uldaman waiting 2 or 3 hours for that stupid coffer chest to spawn for a quest. Everything will be camped like that. Grind some mobs and move on, come back later.I personally think it's great and hopefully the Elysium staff will continue the same process and have the same perspective the Nostalrius team had by not changing the spawn rates.

I agree, it adds to the game when you actually have to compete with other players for PvE stuff like questing or professions. yes it can be frustrating if it takes too long but I'd prefer them to just leave it as it is. I liked it on Nostalrius when you'd be competing for a certain quest item to spawn.
