Now, my guild on Nost was definately not amazing, I would say we were above average at best. This is how our logs look: http://realmplayers.com/RaidStats/FightOverview.aspx?Raid=37574&Fight=0 You will also notice lowbie weaksauce undergeared trial rogues and alt mages (except Ekyza, he shouldn't have been so low) at the bottom there. This was one of the 2x MC raids we ran each week, with our mains split across the board. You keep linking logs to prove your point in almost every thread regarding DPS (Especially if paladins are involved) and noone ever links an actual example of a real log to show you why you are wrong. Even this log I linked you is half the power of a raid with our full geared mains. Ret, Disc, Dps druids, Elemental.. even that Shadow Priest you see there was doing it for funzies (he was also doing more dps than Smote, but that's besides the point -.- ). None of these specs are ever going to be good in vanilla PVE raiding, no matter how much you rage about it. You can still get a spot in some guilds because they don't care. That is cool, as you say, it is only a game. I have now linked you some undisputable proof. And end it there. This thread was asking about speccing Discipline on a Vanilla private server and how exactly it would muster up compared to other classes. That's exactly what I said in my original post in this thread, provided reasoning behind it and then realmplayers links and raid stats parses to show actual evidence of it. If anyone fell off the short bus in this thread it's you man with your insults and threats to have me banned/suspended for the nerve of offering my opinion to the exact question asked in this thread and then providing rationale/evidence of said opinion... Theloras 108 Report post Posted November 28, 2016 The Paladin discussions are bad enough on their dedicated sub-forum, and while disc is the most optimal spec for maximising raid DPS it is because of buffing other DPS, not actually doing DPS as a priest, that being said everyone is free to try whatever they feel like... BUT Saying Smite priests works well with multiple Retribution paladins is like saying a hunter can tank a boss with his pet if all the Paladins spam lay on hands on it and all the DPS:ers are feral druids and shadow priests so they don't over-aggro. It is technically true but it's really not grounded in anything realistic that you would encounter while playing vanilla. Also, there is no point in getting upset and trying to threaten each other, if there's a post you disagree with point out the flaws or just ignore it, no point in getting all personal. Ret Paladins have always been a energetic and zany bunch and will probably always be, so it's better to just leave them be, and hopefully they will stay in their dedicated threads. The OP wanted to know what disc priest were like on vanilla, people answered in the first few post, now it's just turning into a brawl.
