Shayss 43 Report post Posted November 23, 2016 You will be able to transfer a maximum of one char from Elysiums old server to the old PvP realm. They haven't given out the information on how this is going to work. Note: When you do transfer, the old Nostalrius PvP server will have player name priority. Eg: You are transfering your rogue named Timmy, but there is already a Timmy on Nostalrius. You will then need to rename your char.
Undertanker 88 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 Where was there a mention of only being able to transfer 1 character? As far as I am concerned, both character databases were to be merged, meaning all your characters/accounts should be in the same database as the Nost 1.0 character database.
Danko 1 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 As far as i know you will be able to log in with your old Nost account on the Nost PvP and Nost PvE servers. Not the new ones tho.

I am pretty sure it was stated on the homepage on the Nostalrius / Elysium collaboration post. Homepage is down for maintanence atm so I can't check again yet.
cryofsorrow 5 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) Announcements on the forums are the same as the news posted on the main page which is down at the moment.https://forum.elysium-project.org/index.php?showtopic=22768#entry239844"PvP, PvE & fresh start You will be able to choose which realm (in case of multiple realms) that you will be able to transfer your character to and resume playing as if Nostalrius never left. You will not be able to transfer from PvP to PvE, and so Elysium characters will only be able to join a PvP realm and Nostalrius PvE characters will only join a PvE realm. Additionally, we wish to assure you that all personal information linked to accounts will be protected at all costs. Therefore, a very secure process will be implement to transfer your character data from Nostalrius to the new realms hosted by Elysium."That's all there is about transfers. I gather from this announcement that there's a possibility of two old PvP realms? May be (hopefully) I am wrong about that. We'll find out soon enough though. Also, I interpret OP's question as if transfers of characters from servers other than Nostalrius or Elysium will be possible to which the answer is "No". Pottu 290 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 You do not need separate accounts for separate realms. One account is enough. The wording can be a little ambiguous but it means that your Nostalrius characters will (automatically) go to the appropriate realms. When that announcement was made, we hadn't decided the neames of the reals or even that there was going to be a fresh start realm. So if you had a Nostalrius account, you will be able to log in to that account and your PvP character would be on the Nostalrius PvP realm, your PvE character would be on the Nostalrius PvE realm AND you can also create a new character on the Elysium PvP realm, which is the fresh start one. So 1 account = access to all 3 realms. As for completely new players, they can make new characters on any and/or all three realms, they just don't have any old characters to resume adventuring with. Hopefully that makes it clear. There is no limit to the transfers, it's not like you'll only get to bring 1 character over or something like. We have the full Nostalrius database.
