<Iron Edge> has opened its doors wide for recruitment.

We are currently recruiting potential raiders and members for the opening of the Fresh Elysium PvP server. This means that, should you apply and be accepted, you will be able to join us on launch. This is a very good opportunity to join us as there are currently only 2 slots that have been made permanent (our MT and myself as a Priest). If you are able to level nicely and gear up before the first raids hit, then you will be in a very good position to become a permanent member of <Iron Edge>.  We are a mature guild and would prefer 18+ year old players. We need players who have control of thier lives (eg. stable job, stable education schedule, etc)

How to apply:
As this is a fresh guild on a fresh server, we will have no gear requirements at the start. However I suggest you look at THIS before you apply, because while our gear requirements will change later on, our raid days (Mon, Wed, Thur) and raid times (EU raid times, 19:00 - 23:00 Gmt+1) will remain permanent.

Positions of high value:

Druid - This position is extremely limited. As a general rule of optimisation, guilds do not bring that many druids to a raid. They are needed for Utility but they do not excell at any particular roles. To this end <Iron Edge> will only have 2 druids / 3 druids maximum.

Hunter - These are required for some fights due to utility, namely Tranquilising Shot. We will only have 3 or so Hunters here.
However as we are seeking a balanced raid these spots will require some talented hunters, prefereably with some experience with pulling in BWL suppression room.

Shaman - This spot is a bit different. We will be recruiting a lot of shamans, because Totems are just that strong. Any good Horde guild will have atleast 5/6 shamans in every raid. This means that you WILL be replaced very quickly if you are unable to maintain your attendance...  <Iron Edge> promotes the aquisition of dedicated players but for shamans this is even more important.

Tanks - Our MT position is already solidified. However we will need atleast 2/3 more stable tanks. Like with Shamans, Tanks are extremely important, and if you aren't able to maintain our raiding requirements you will be replaced very quickly. Your position however, should you be accepted as a raider, will be set in stone. You will always get a raid spot.

Stress tests are over, we have been given a release day for the old PvP and PvE server BUT no date on the Fresh realm yet.  Hold on tight and hope for a nice christmas present!

Come play for me instead. You have some presence on the forums and It doesn't look like you wear your pants on your head. If you can do 3 raid days raiding , EU times, and a bit of PvP on the side, then I'm sure I can fit you in here. I could even give you the job of keeping this thread relevant, top 10 on the front page. I don't care what class you choose either, but I do have reservations on funny specs.

This will take you to our front page on the forum. Next, look at the top right of the page. You must sign in there to have access to our forum pages. You will only have access to "Information & Recruitment" and "General".

 

I advise you use our current application template. We only ask a few general questions at the moment but they are important.
