Rileyblog1 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 Hey everybody! This thread is meant to discuss tips for prepping shaman toons before launch. I'm personally going to be rolling a PVE Resto Troll. Please share whatever has helped you level including macros, addons, etc. I've heard good things about totem timers but wanted to get some input from those who have actually used it as well. Thanks!
Zappa 7 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) Five quick things from my side: - Call of elements is a great addon. It helps you organize your UI much better. - Bind all Rank1-Shocks on your action bars as well. You will need them for pvp: Earth for casters, fire and frost for alle enemies depending on the situation. - Purge is your best skill. Do it as much as you can. - Totems are difficult to understand which one and when to toss it but you will learn that. - Level as Enhancer with a quick dagger with Flametongue on it and a shield in offhand. Then spec to resto. Enjoy the game! Edited November 24, 2016 by Zappa
Aslan 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 Call of elements was mainly a totemtimer correct? Check out the modified one on the nost forums, it includes a ticktimer. For your lvling journey: show much love to your lightning shield.

For your lvling journey: show much love to your lightning shield. CoE is like a small Bongos version just for totems which includes a timer and a function to show specific totems when you mouseover it. It just saves space and makes your UI more pretty. It also gives you hints when to throw a cleansing totem e.g.
Pottu 290 Report post Posted November 24, 2016 I've always found Ring Menu useful for playing a shaman. You can put totems that you only need occasionally in there, while you bind your most used ones to your normal actionbars. That way the buttons won't be cluttering the scree while you play and a press of middle mouse button brings the ring menu up when you need it. You can customize the number of buttons available as well as their size.
