[AddOn] aux and more

If you have assigned focus target, then with the help of some macros you can cast spells on that target without ever losing your primary target.

That's not possible. The addon will technically always have to target to cast a spell, with the effects that brings like losing combo points.

The issue must be some hook conflict or some other weird thing it does when casting with that macro. I'll look at it when I have time.

Ty for the answers, i would appreciate that.

It seems to be using CastSpellByName. ccwatch currently doesn't work with that if the case is wrong. Is that the problem?

Hi, love your addons.

Thank you for developing them.
The only question I have is how can I update aux without loosing all my scan data?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for keeping this up to date.

In regards to CCwatch, is it possible to have the bars show the name of the spell rather than the name of the unit/target? I tried looking through the code, but my LUA skills are very limited.

I would appreciate it by a lot

Sorry, it was broken in many different ways many times. Most updates shouldn't break it but if they do you'll just have to start fresh.

There's no such setting; and I don't really see the point. Identifying the spell is what the icon's for. Especially since it only tracks your own spells now there should be no confusion.

How would I go about adding such a setting? I don't PvP, and I use ccwarch for pve puroses, so the name of the target is irrelevant, but the spell name isn't, despite the icon.

Hi again shir, a few more questions/requests:

1) Isn't there an option to disable aux sounds, like the sound you hear when switching tabs, when pressing the Post button in its own frame and whatnot? There's no such feature between the slash commands.

2) Does Historical Value only take into account buyouts, or is it an average between those and the starting prices/minimal bids set by the sellers?

3) A switch could be added to the Post tab, in the top half (near where Units per stack and Stack size sliders are), to display prices per stack rather than per unit. It's functional as it currently is if I just want to undercut no matter what, but if I'd like to set a given buyout price I couldn't do it except by doing the maths myself (or using the classic UI)... else there's a way to do that already and I'm just unaware of it.

4) I seem to remember an earlier version where current/starting bids were displayed for auctions sorted in the Post tab, along with buyout prices. Now only buyouts are displayed. It would be more accurate and versatile for sellers if they could just display all values, undercutting both or either independently, as they wish.

5) Another cool addition could be a feature that lets you choose by what amount or percentage you want to undercut by default. Right now it undercuts by just 1 copper.

6) You could consider setting the auto-complete amount field to work more efficiently. Let me be more specific: if I type 1g and then I hit Return, all figures for silver and copper are automatically inserted (so the field will display 1g 00s 00c). On the other hand, if I just type 1g 50 and hit Return (missing the "s" then), my input is cleared (showing 0c). I'd like for it to auto-fills with 1g 50s 00c. Even better if we could just type 1,50,00 to obtain 1g 50s 00c on hitting Enter.

Thanks a lot!

I got these errors from Postal, are they related to MoveAnything?

Any way to fix it without deleting MoveAnything (or disabling it and then configuring it again?)

Wouldnt want to config my UI again

Also, on Clean Up readme you can read: "The highest priority are the custom assignments."

How to make these custom assignments? I want to fix some items in my bags so the cleanup addon doesnt move them

Sorry, don't have much time and I don't see why the icon isn't enough.

Most sounds are built into the api and can't be disabled other than by disabling all game sound. This isn't the case for the tab sound, but it's the same as the one in the default ah and there's no option to disable it or plan to make one.

Historical value is only buyout.

There's no way to use stack prices or plan to make one. It would be inconsistent with the listing, add unnecessary complexity etc. I don't see the point besides habit from using the default ah.

There's a bid listing you can get with a slash command, but it's only meant and optimized for undercutting bid stack prices for positioning in the default ah.

The gold input format is already fairly complicated as it is. There are many possible shortcuts. for 1g 50s you could also write 1.5g, 150s or just 1.5 (default is g).

No current plan to make it compatible. What this addon does seems crazy/stupid (removing references to default ui elements from the global table).

This isn't possible anymore.

Hey again Slesvig, your suggestion last time and direction on where to edit WIM worked like a charm! I wanted to ask you if there's a way to set npcscan to do 2 things; i would like it to stop removing names from the list once found, and I was wondering if there's a way to make the pop up change location on my screen (it just so happens to obscure where i have my unit frames)

Thanks so much, take care.

Is there a way to exclude green armour and weapons when searching the AH using the Aux addon but search for everything else?

The removal is not a feature, it's a workaround. Without it the corpse would be constantly targeted. The location can be changed of course but you'll ahve to figure it out yourself.

There's no post filter for categories but you can approximate it with tooltip filters.

The Aux comparison tooltips are interfering with other addons. Is there some way to disable them?

I had this same problem, NoGnomo. What you do is move the frame that contains the Mail frame instead of moving the mail frame.

In the MoveAnything list of Blizzard frames, look for InfoPanel 1 and InfoPanel 2. Move both of these relative to one another and the error you received above will not occur.

You can test if it works by opening both the Talents window and the Spell Book at the same time. They are both contained in those InfoPanel frames and should show up next to one another wherever you want them.

Hope that helps.

Just recently found cdframes, such a useful addon.

Is it possible to tweak or outright remove the black outline from the countdown numbers?

Almost anything is possible, but you'll have to figure out how yourself, I don't have much time at the moment and don't even really play anymore.

What you're looking for would be in the frame.lua file.
