What is the best race/class duo for duo-ing dungeons?

Hello! So, basically, me and my buddy are going to start on the new realm. What would be the best duo for us to roll to be able to solo dungeons and even UBRS and maybe something harder - ive seen a warrior solo UBRS but he probably had some super great gear. Any ideas? What would be the best combo...Thanks for any suggestions!

Ubrs 60 prot warrior? That video you meant? When looking at it it feels wrong somehow. I tried to see if he stance danced anything, but couldnt see it happening. Which makes me Think its a 60 twink in later xpac since he uses charge and TC and as I said, never noticed him chnage stance. But maybe it was possible, but I doubt it.

 

Know 2 on server that was warrior and priest and used to do the 45 min strat late in xpac. If you will duo stuff u will probably need a plate wearer and something that atleast got decent heals

Thats post-classic, you can tell from the crit/hit rating on the items. But other dungeons like Strat should be quite easy to duo if you have a warrior with a fat 2hander and a healer, (preferrably shaman as horde).

I remember alot of Warrior+Healer (with enchanting) farmed DM:N first boss without problems on Nost

Paladin Tank and Restoration Druid for all the 5 mans and 10 man.

 

As Paladin Tank you can even solo UBRS if you are good enough using Hunter and his Pet.

Actually, found the video from my vanilla server, its called Mandis & Amathera something

I checked them and it was totaly legit, no footage from later xpack, just overgeared. Actually nothing special, I used to farm LBRS and Scholo on my druid with a warriorbud on feenix (we had full t2)

And never ever could you 2man UBRS. There are full geared 70s having struggles with bosses there.

not only them, thereare multiple videos where hunters, mages and locks solo him. I guess a rogue could solo him too.

Back when I was fury I would 2man 1st boss of DM:N and do full jump-runs of DM:E with a shaman.

As a mage you could solo all 6ish hyena packs at once in DM:N, then solo the boss. Was pretty good gold per hour and a welcome change from farming lashers.

And 5 man aq40 first pack of trash later on

My friend was farming ironfoe back on Nost so we did 100+ BRD lava runs as Rdruid and Fwarr. This is a pretty solid combo. Warrior simply equips a shield on larger packs and druid has a lot of burst healing and hots preventing unexpected amounts of incomming dmg. Due to the nature of healing over time abilities this combo can stay mobile and quickly move through dungeons.

Let's cut the crap.

 

You won't two-men dungeon like UBRS, or Strat till you get like BWL geared toons. You might kill some trash, couple of easier bosses, but you won't clear it full with pre-raid geared toons.

First trash pack of AQ40 cant be 5manned due to their mechanics afaik. I could see them 5manning parts of AQ20 though.

Might work tho, if priest can manage his mana.
