TBC in the future

Hey guys

 

Before Nost got shut down there was an announcement that the Team was working on a TBC server.

I know you can not give answers if and when it would get released but I have a question regarding the server progress.

 

So IF you release a TBC server: will it only be available for characters from the Nost PvP server, since it has the furthest progress or also from Elysium or Nost PvE?

 

I ask because I'm mainly (and I think a lot of other people too) looking forward for a solid TBC server which I know would be great if it is made by the Nost/Elysium Team and therefore I need to know if it's safe to level my characters on the new Elysium server or if I should go with the Nost PvP server.

I'm just as excited to play vanilla as the rest of everyone is but I would be extremely excited to play tbc as well. I was looking into a tbc server last year I think and it may be the same server your speaking of but anyways im game for anything litch and back.....!!!!!! BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!

No, they have probably completely stopped thinking about it is of now. The team has their hands full working on the servers at the moment. It would be far far into the future before they thought about TBC.

I believe in the future they will start working with TBC but don't expect it anytime soon. I'd give it at least 2 years or even more. If only some dudes called CC could publish their code for Elysium because we all know it's wasted otherwise.

Doubt they will look at TBC for at least another couple years, but I'm sure it will happen eventually.

Someone has to look to the future, otherwise we would never advance. And some people's minds are naturally wired to look more "big picture" rather than the present. I've always envied those who could find content in the now.

Tbc dosent have a good core to start off with besides hellgrounds of orgeoncore. Withe that in mind even if tbc nost ever does come it will never compete with gummycraft/netherwing. The shear amount of work that it's going to take will prevent any non-primary tbc team from competing. Tbc has way more scripting involved then vanilla.
