Once the third server is online and players start to play less often when the hype dies, it should fluctuate out. Thanks for playing during the launch.

The servers did have a cap. The official launch though I agree with whatever limit it is at for the moment. Everyone can enjoy the start!

When the servers first went up at 12:03pm, yes, there was like a 20 second delay on everything.

 

After the player cap was put in place though, I've been rocking ~120ms and it's been perfect.

 

New players ваууing everywhere and I've only gotten halfway through level 5 after 3 1/2 hours of play, but at least I'm not lagging horribly.

Hey big guy. 90% of the pop on nost wasn't in the starting zones, but spread out accross the map. Thus, putting less stress on the server. Just be patient. Ask your mom for a cookie or two.

Well, have you seen the starting zones? I played on my 23 hunter and there was barely anyone in the barrens, such a short distance from the starting zones. Made a new character just to take a picture:

Hello,

 

Im in France, so near the the datacenter. When i use a ping on the domain elysium-project.org, my latency is around 30ms. When i log in game, i have a latency around 50-60 ms on the first minutes and after a moment, my latency increase to 400ms, then 2000ms and finally around 4k ms.

So it's unplayable for the moment. I can't take a quest or launch a spell. But im aware they are a lot of ppl in the newbee park. So the issues is because of the number of player in the same area, or just the server can't absorb all this people?

 

What about other area with caracters already up?

Edit: apparently the problem is only on the pvp server. I have no issue on the pve server.

hope elysium an nost team will fix this issues .. delay on me is 2-3 sec ms is around 380-400 and 180ms on non so hight pop zones

Apparently, the PVE server works fine. But it not the same thing on the PVP server. PvP server is not playable at this moment, for me anyway on the undead newbee parc.

On the Pvp server at the Tauren place, i have 300ms latency and it's playable for questing.

I see this server is like all other private servers, dont know what i expected.... retail ? Big numbers of players and priv lags forever. Hype was really big, thats true, delays to this launch was really long but that do nothing private server be always private server and nothing more........... i am sad because this server promise much more that look right now.

I think you'r right. Too many people on start zone, server not scale yet. We are lagging and we are out of mobs. So, just wait the second wave in few days.

Good. Just leave. Cry babies like you made WoW awful. Go play WOTLK since ''it was the best WOW EVER!!''. Just shows that you've never, ever, played during a launch day and you think you know everything when in fact you don't know фекал. Entitled brat. The launch was so bad when WoW came out that they refunded us days, if its not a month of gameplay.
