Sap putting me in combat and taking me out of stealth

So I did a couple experiments after I noticed that I was becoming visible after sapping a target.

 

It's been awhile since I've played a rogue or played in Vanilla for that matter but I don't think this is supposed to happen.

 

I sap a target, specifically a huminoid with no other hostile creatures or anything else in range and I'm put into combat and thrown out of stealth.

 

Is this going to be fixed, has anyone else happened to have this problem?

It is a bug, it's not the getting out of stealth after sapping...

 

In duels if I sap someone and go back to stealth, my stealth is breaking, it's a stupid bug like the other rogue bugs that aren't fixed

Ah, figured I had forgotten something, it's been nearly a decade since I last played Vanilla.. and honestly didn't get into rogues much.  Thanks for the replies.

Yes and no. In instances usually not. However I use Sap often in PvP and would even if I wasn't running improved sap because it's solid for resetting DRs on stuns and buying time.

Slot the talent if you want to prevent this, and pray you don't roll a 1-10.
