Is Holy Pally Good for healer? (vs Priest)

I would like to play a support/healer character and i find Holy Pally interesting. Any opinion guys? Thanks! :)

Yea holy pala is nice both for pvp and pve.It has a talent when your heal crits u get 100% of the mana back.So if u have high amounts of crit and decent mp5 gear u virtually have infinite mana.However they dont have aoe heals like priest or shaman.

Also holy pala in pvp are amazing.A holy pala with warrior is probably the best teamup ever.Pala providing the warrior BoF+cleanse+BoP+buffs+Heals it is insane.The warrior is just a killing machine then.Nothing can stop him.

Also as a holy pala u can go shockadin build.Which allows u to heal as well as deal dmg.Hope it helps.

They are good MT healers, but lack aoe healing. Also Buff Bots ;)

they're the best healers in the game PvP wise, arguably the best in PvE.

Learn how to fake cast and use blessing of sacrifice and you'll be every dps best friends in PvP.

There are no bad healers. All healers have their niches that they perform well.

yea fake cast is good until you go against a guy who doesnt interrupt until the end

I would assume that holy pally is the best single target healer in compare to any other healing classes.

holy paladin is the "easy mode" healing in vanilla.

Spam flash of light on everyone to keep em up and in case of a boss just use Seal of light+judgement and afk while rogues refull themselves without you to need nothing llol

 

on a more direct note i would say: paladin got cheapest heals and is the top mana efficient healer but his healing amounts are not uberlol while priest got TONS of healing for every situation (binding heal, flash heal, renew, etc...)  which allow him to adapt on every raid situation. The counterside is that priest burn his mana quite fast.

I enjoy being a support class, aka Paladin.

When it comes to healing I prefer to top players off with flash of light, while letting the other healer 9with slower cast times) do the long casting for bigger heals.

If I'm buy my self, downranking cast spell helps with mana efficiency, but don't be afraid to max out the ranks if you can spare the mana.

If you are going to downrank a spell then wich rank would you use?  I'm lvl 50 so far and I never had the needs to downrank.  In perfect condition i seal of wisdom and auto attack mobs , when tank gets at 50% , i do Max rank holy light for 900 normal and 1700 crit,  then continue dpsing with seal of wisdom to replenish missing mana. 

However, lvling =/= raiding so I'm really curious to know what ranks do holy pala use?

You really only downrank in raids and max level 5mans.

 

Downranking is not very useful until you get lots of +heal gear, which lets you use lower ranks for less mana cost, while still keeping the same amount of healing.

 

Plus, since some classes have less health than others, you use lower ranks so that you don't overheal.

I know that.. I asked wich ranks specifically should i use at 60? From my point of view , only holy light is worth to downrank but im not sure wich rank, some say 5 others 3 or 4. Its really confusing

Yeah max rank Flash is the way to go. How much you down rank Holy Light is not written in stone, you gotta try and see what works for you. From all I've read, all you really need is just one down-ranked version of Holy Light, and both max rank Flash Heal and Holy Light. Those 3 should do the trick if you know how to manage your mana pool properly.
