I'm not linking anything, you obviously did not read. I will not be going into any more detail than that. Period. Take it as you will it will be announced after the maintenance is done.

I wouldn't be suprised if the server shuts down at this point.  I remember a few private servers (not exactly wow ones though) in the past lying like they had tech issues while being on maintenance for days only to find out later that the server got shut down and is gone.

If the maintenance gets extended again then I'm pretty sure it's gone.

One wow server got their database hijacked last year and all chars stolen but the community stayed and they are still 10k population server. I hope this is not something like that

There was a serious dupe method with an Axe that allowed them to unlimited vendor it, giving them an unchecked amount of gold. I will not be going into any more detail than that.

And this is the reason why they called their head system/network admin and he took day of his real life job just to ban those chars and delete that gold??? Cool story

Where is the proof on the blunt axe dupe?.

Not working bud.

That tends to happen when you don't have any sources other than yourself.

So I will admit my fault I took what I was being told "still will not confirm the source" as duping because I was told it was an "unchecked amount of gold" and I immediately ran with the original dupe form that was happening back in 2004. My bad, it turns out the method in which the unchecked amount of gold was made was through a backdoor into an admin account. This is from a reputable source, and I'll stick by that.

no, they had to patch a glitch that allowed gold selling scums to duplicate stuff...not only that a anon hacker hacked into a website that's across all servers and not only found about the glitch but also all the people buying gold.....he stated 1 website g4wow has mad over 800K dating from 08/16/ till yesterday before the issue was fixed and still being worked on.
