Qingu 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 Hi everybody. I want to start playing vanilla after a very long while but I want to chose the best server to my needs. So if you guys could give me some brief info about servers.. things like population, pve progression, pvp, guilds etc. in your servers that would help alot. Btw is there any plans about any of the existing realms to be progressive in the future? Thanks in advance.

Wirago 8 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) HIghest population has Elysium (10k+). But trust me, you do not want to start there. Login queue, completely overfarmed and crowded. Zeth'Kur has the same progression like Elysium. But since it is 1 week older, the population is about 5-6k. Still quite a lot but you dont have any login queue. Anathema (old Nostalrius PvP) is the furthest. But expect some serious lvl 60 ganking. Good population (~ like Zeth). Some say the economy is broken (due to gold sellers). No idea if its true. Might be hard to catch up to high geared players. Darrowshire (old Nostalrius PvE) is also quite far in the progression. Lowest population, but still high enough to enjoy. Might be hard to catch up to high geared players. Over all, if you want to start from scratch i would suggest Zeth'Kur. But since its completely new, not all raids are open yet. (Check here for timeline -> https://elysium-project.org/timeline) If you dont want to stick to that timeline go to Anathema or Darrowshire... depending if you like PvE or PvP server Edited January 20, 2017 by Wirago

Newts 6 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 Currently playing on Zeth and 5pm GMT (after work) it's between 5-6k, perfect population at the moment I think - no issues with grouping for dungeons and not too many to be able to quest. But yeah the timeline is at the very start, but gives you plenty of time to do whatever you want without a mad rush!
Syff 23 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 Yeah Zeth and Darrowshire have around the same numbers in population. Darrowshire is also pretty fresh when it comes to progression. According to the timeline we will be getting BWL this month (?)
Oamaru 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 There's 60s and tons of 50s on Elysium now too. You will get ganked by higher levels on any server at this stage (except Darrowshire PVE) so don't really factor that in. It mostly depends if you want to raid and if so if you'll be happy following a Blizzard progression from the beginning, or if you want to jump in and do AQ in a couple months.

My guild will be starting a 6'th one since our second one is almost full now.

Anathema PvP - high online, no queue, many players from old Nostalrius. Elysium PvP - high online, crazy queue. Realm was launched 7 january but there is already some 60lvl players. Zeth'Kur PvP - medium online, no queue. Darrowshire PvE - medium online, true PvE realm. In my opinion Anathema is still best choice.
Milarepa 1 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 There has been no queue on Elysium the past two nights that I logged on.
Grampagreen 3 Report post Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) If you are rolling Alliance, please come to Elysium. It's Horde heavy right now and we will need some balance for BG queues ;) Edit: There haven't been any queues for Elysium for me in the last two days. The server has settled down since the clone server was released and the drama with Nostalrius. Edited January 20, 2017 by Grampagreen Add Info

Whether you do or do not it is refreshing to see an avater on a 1 post recently registered forum account! Best regards!
hedonismbot 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2017 Thank you for the welcome. I play a hunter named Saintcroix. Had it not been for this post thread-I would not have known about a pve vanilla server. If you see me give me a wave :)
