Shino replied it works fine for him but I got tons of addons, maybe a conflict of a sort. For science :P P.S I don't see any saddening factor in convenience. Neither I see skill in mashing buttons in order in pve :p might as well use one button and focus attention elsewhere... whole idea behind macros is that :P I bet fd+trap macros were saddening for some 10years ago also, same principle. Eh no, the difference between having a castsequence macro to do your rotation and then having a addon to do it is quite big... Addons are able to take situational event into consideration just like he mentioned in the addon description "It takes the autoshot timer into account" so you basicly could make a perfect rotation by just brainlessly spam 1 button due to an intelligent addon that does all the thinking for you. Now I don't know how much work has been put into that addon specificly but it is possible to make an addon doing what I just said while macros will never be able to do that, castsequence macros will always be a DPS loss. FD+Trap macros are nothing alike, it literally changes nothing for a hunter and it isn't something that considers several events for you like this addon possibly does. If the game bores you then why waste time on it, play it if you enjoy it - else don't. So yeah, that pretty much sums up why I find it saddening, and tbh it should've been pretty self explanatory. Anyway the only "thinking" hunter do in hunter rotation is watching autoshot bar and starting aimed shot in a perfect spot. I could bet you use rais autoshot or other similiar tool to aid you with that or am I wrong and u're one of those purist that find it fun to count in ur head with every shot? Anyway I didnt mean to start this topic to trigger you. If you don't like addons or macros or convenience in general you know what to do:P I'd ask you not to turn this topic into addon/macro users vs purists war as its not a subforum made for that kind of discussion. And yes I use rais_autoshot which is a helping tool, not an automate tool. pAuL_ArT 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2017 i know this is a necro, but this topic comes up first when you google this addon, so for people looking for information: if this addon doesn't fire aimed shot, it might be in conflict with another addon. for me it "worked" only after deactivating YaHT (let's be honest, if you use OBH, you probably have no use for YaHT anyway). This addon does not take your auto shot cd/cast time into account in any way (at least that's what it did when i tested it today, with no other addons active). it will start casting aimed/multi as soon as it comes off cd, meaning all it does is the same as this macro: /cast Aimed Shot /cast Multi-Shot That means this addon is entirely useless. it will also effectively make you get a lot less auto shots off over the course of a boss fight, because it will clip auto shots, so it's a straight up dps loss, so... wait, sorry, that means it's worse than useless. steer clear of it if you want to play the hunter class properly, install YaHT instead and read something like this to git gud. Bloodseeker, Roch De'l;ear, Stonesomething(from DMW, little crossbow), random greens of all speeds It Sorta works, usually only does multishot, but if you move things around on the action bars, SOMETIMES it will do a perfect rotation. I tried messing with some of the lua values, un equipping +15% quiver, none of that helped as much as movong things around on action bar. What seems to work best is to put Auto shot in slot 1, Aimed in 2, Multi in 3, then swap multi and aimed if it doesnt work. Any progress? 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
