Sheeping tapped targets!!

I feel like this should be addressed immediately!! Any mage who decides to be a dick can make your life hell. Just spam sheep your target and either makes it so you cannot kill it or it takes way longer. A mage should not be able to sheep a target he cannot get xp for... plain and simple.

This is considered grieving and highly against the rules here at Elysium-Project. If you run into a player doing something like this, please submit a GM ticket with the players names and his actions. For proof I would probably take multiple screenshots in order to give them to the appropriate GM to be taken care of.

Please show me in the TOU where this is deemed griefing.

This is not a form of griefing - Person being a dick yes but griefing no.

Disrupting, slowing or otherwise impeding another players gameplay for no other reason than being a "dick" is griefing answered your own question.

I am quite sure back in the day mages could sheep whatever they wanted. They just didn't use it for griefing.

But look at it the other way around. I have also saved players who pulled too many mobs by sheeping one of them.

Griefing might need a look into. A mage's ability to sheep tagged mobs needs not.

As it CURRENTLY stands it's not considered griefing if mages sheep quest mobs whether its cross faction or not. Players can go to do other quests and come back at a later time.

It CAN be considered griefing if a group of players is doing an escort quest and the mage is harassing them with sheeping, although this is up to the particular GM.

Nono. you have to have good reasons for it, for example, you're not being a dick sheeping those mobs, you're training your sheeping reflexes to prepare for naxxramas.

You are totally contradicting yourself here.

Your also stating that the "Rule" can vary aldepending on what GM you get?!?

if this is the case - Where is the consistency with GM's? You should gave a set of processes and procedures to run from as a team, not rely on how "One" is feeling today when policing a server...

It should be left to who gets the tag, not if you are battling a mage for the tag who then can decide to stop you from killing said mob for as long as he wants just because lulz. I have read this server banned a player for tossing a player off the boat with MC, and that was grieving... but sheeping a mob to guarantee the player cant kill it isn't???????????????????????

MC off a boat is fun and PvP at its finest. Its easy to avoid so its not game breaking.

Sheeping same factions mobs because you didn't get the tag is bullshit. Plain and simple. I have stood up for this server many times, and have liked playing here... but if this is how the gms think, I might just toss the 5 days played away and go elsewhere.

Neither should be considered abuse.

MC off a boat can actually cause bugs on these servers and render the character unplayable until a GM teleports them, that's why it's bannable. I agree that repeatedly sheeping mobs to grief your own faction should not be allowed either.
