Botting

Hello, this is my first post and since i dont know where to post i just try it here.

Some days ago i met some players who behaved really weird. It was in STV but i dont remember the names of those players.

One of them however, was a NE Pala who behaved pretty much like an AI even though it was a Pala. I followed him some minutes to see what/how he is doing untill at some point he stucked himself between a wall and some vases in some of those troll ruins. He literally been there for like 5min. trying to run against the wall while spinning around weirdly. He didnt try a different spot or jumped once. Just walking and spinning. Then i attacked him and he IMMEDIATELY started to cast 2 heals, like it was scripted or so but after those 2 heals he tryed again to run against the wall.

As i said i dont remember the name but im pretty sure it was some kind of a Bot. Is there a way to report those players and what is the punishment? "Just" Acc or even an ip Ban?

Make a video of it, upload to YouTube, and then link the video in a GM ticket.

 

I also found a bot and that's how I reported it. GM responded the next day and told me that he'd deal with it.

just write an ingame ticket (stuck -> still stuck).

GMs will investigate and ban them. i already got a dozen banned

Hi there,

Your best bet is to open a ticket whenever you see someone suspected of botting. GM's will investigate.

So, what I find funny is...

The folks that are hosting this game, is using illegal software not approved by the game development company. Everyone playing the game, is in breach of the ToS from the game development company, but yet, the moderators of this game and players, give a crap about people botting... LOL.... Pot meet kettle. I love the hypocrisy of you people.

 

If you must, care about gold farmers, but honestly why does anyone give a F#$@ about people not wanting to level for 2 months... anyhoo. Im awaiting my ban on my fake account with my fake email account. I love it. Cheers all!

Your argument is a waste of time. Botting can be used for purposes which destroy the integrity of the game. It's not allowed, it will never be allowed. If you don't want to spend the time to level to 60, maybe Vanilla isn't right for you.
